PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS

"It has been a wonderful week of work. We have listened, shared, felt with our hearts the importance of caring for our youngest members of society. . . I feel peaceful, I feel content, I feel a new energy to work with my new group of students. . . It has been so refreshing in so many ways. . ."

Our adult education programs offer a rich dialogue on the themes of our times in relation to families and children, and seek to unfold new capacities for professionals and parents.
We explore the development and care of young children, and how to create the very best experiences to meet their needs. Craftwork and the arts are a part of every course and conference. The insights of Waldorf education and the work of the Pikler Institute are the central foundations for our professional development offerings. Sophia's Hearth Family Center offers a thirteen month part-time training course that focuses on the development of infants and young children. Our faculty includes North American and international presenters who bring rich expertise and a joy for their work.
As a model center, we invite visitors to observe our programs. Visiting days provide an opportunity for prospective students to learn more about our professional courses.
